Lipno nad Vltavou is a notable recreational area of the South Bohemian region. Lake Lipno makes it possible to do almost all water sports. In every season of the year you will find many opportunities how to spend your leisure time here.
In the village there are several sports equipment rentals available: skiing and snowboarding equipment, in-line and winter skating, mountain and trekking as well as electric bikes, poles for nordic walking, kayaks and rafts, electric boats or kayaks.
Skiareál Lipno Kramolín ranks among the most modern ski centres in the Czech Republic and is oriented especially to families with children. It offers downhill runs with a total length of 8.3 km, including an entertaining snowcross track. All the tracks are completely covered with a snowing-making system. After sunset there is a possibility of evening skiing as well.

Hiking with the possibility of making trips to many corners of local countryside, e.g. to Alpská vyhlídka (Alpine Vantage Point), castle Vítkův hrádek, to the Luč nature reserve or on Čertova stěna (Devil’s Wall).
Lipno hydraulic power station information centre, where you will learn at a depth of 160 m under the ground level how electricity is generated from water.
